Nudity won

Filed under:Fashion, Holiday, School, TV || Comments (6)

So I was watching the Norwegian version of “Dancing with the Stars” yesterday, it was the finale. And a nude-model, Lene Alexandra, won! I’ve seen better dancers than her + she’s only playing on her looks. But I have to admit I like her a bit, because she’s removed her silicon in her breast - that’s a brave thing to do!

I’ve been kind of lazy this week, with blogging and commenting. It’s just that I’m in the middle of my mid-terms, so I’ve got to focus extra on schoool! But from December I can focus more on Nici Land again :)

Do you know what really annoys me? When I start to watch a TV-show like Gossip Girl or Top Model, and I never “finish” them! I usually stop watching them after a while, and that sucks when I start watching them again. I’ve missed a lot of things, especially on Gossip Girl. I haven’t seen the last 5 episodes or something of season 1, and on Wednesday this week it was the premiere of season 2. God, I’ve missed watching Gossip Girl! My favorite character is definitely Blair Waldorf, you know, the spoiled little brat :D Do you watch Gossip Girl? Who’s your favorite character? And does anyone care to tell me what happened in the last episodes in season 1?

So are anyone happy that it’s only 1 month and 9 days until Christmas? Oh boy, I just can’t wait! All the presents,  scratch that, I don’t get many presents :( But the presents I do get, all the good food, friends & family, TV-shows aka The Muppets and Mickey Mouse… what’s the best day in the year? CHRISTMAS EVE! :P Do you have any plans for Christmas? Do your family have any special traditions? I’ll write more about Christmas later.

The time has finally come to find a Christmas and a New Years Eve dress! I’ve been searching stores online and in malls, and I can’t find anything. I’m very picky, so that doesn’t help at all… Luckily I’ve got a trip to Milan, maybe I’ll find something there? Meanwhile, I’ve actually found a cute dress:

That dress would’ve looked sooo good with a black leather jacket, gladiator sandals and a clutch bag!

 … and some funky silver jewellery or something ;)

HAVE A LOVELY WEEKEND!

Fashionista

Filed under:Fashion, Personal, Shopping || Comments (12)

Hey peeps! How was your weekend? Ready for another week with school? The good news is that it’s soon Christmas! Which means holiday. God, I can’t wait. Mine is really going to be over-the-top. Guess what? Not only am I going to Milan in 2 weeks, I’m also celebrating New Year’s Eve in VENEZIA!!!!! I mean, really, can a girl wish for more? I really need to brag of this, sorry guys :)

Do you know what I have noticed? I’ve actually started to care about what I wear! Before I used to just throw on a hoodie and a pair of jeans or sweatpants. Now I actually think it looks tacky and trashy (at hoem it’s OK) :O The problem is that my wardrobe only consist of sweatpants, 3 jeans, a lot of hoodies and 3 t-shirts. Someone needs to buy herself a new wardrobe… [5 minutes later] I’ve counted my hoodies. I’VE GOT 16 HOODIES! Can you believe that? I wonder if my sudden fashionista has awoken because of my age? I mean, there’s several other girls who also dress different, and more mature. I also want to dress mature, not like a sloppy and trashy teenage “thingy.” I want to wear high heels, dresses to school, shorts in November and to show cleevage. I’m still too young, only fourteen, so I’ve got a plan: on my sweet oh’sixteen I’m going to do a total make-over of my wardrobe, with the permission from my mum and her credit card :D But I’m going to wait until I’m 16, since I think it’s and appropriate age for high heels and cleevage. For now, I’m going to start slow with my new make-over, give away clothes and get inspired by Norway’s number 1 fashionblogg, http://ulrikkelunds.blogg.no/!

Some other things I also want to do, is to save hair. I want really long and curly hair, like I had before. This sudden desire for “mermaid-hair” came when I met an old friend of my mum. She commented that my hair was more straight and asked “where are the curls?” I got really sad inside of me, and realized how much I miss curls. So now, my second target is to save hair.  Do you have any tips or suggestions?

(Miley has some awesome loose curls sometimes!)

I also want to loose weight, but I’ve wanted it for sooo very long time, so I really don’t know. I like myself chubby, and I like food. So what? I LIKE MYSELF! Why should I loose weight? Maybe I’ll fit into more clothes? At least if I manage to loose weight, I know it’s for myself, not anyone else ;) I’ll try to take a walk or run everyday at least 4 kilometer, that should be enough. It’s hard for people like me, who loves food and hates training ._.

Sorry for writing a blog just about me. So in return, I would really love to learn something new about YOU :) Do you struggle with weight? Do you like fashion? Are you satisfied with your hair? And so on! I’m curious!

I’ll end this blog with this super-cool outfit (got to have it someday):

Dracula and seeing Mel Gibson worried

Filed under:Books, Movies || Comments (3)

Hello cuties! How is your weekend going? I’m at the moment at my dad’s place, which is fine. I have to do some homework, since we’re having some tests next week. I hate preparing for tests :(

So last night, I watched two movies; Dracula and Ransom. Dracula was just…weird. I mean, there was a lot of famous actors in it, like Winona Ryder, Anthony Hopkins and Keanu Reeves. But it was just plain weird! While we’re talking about Winona Ryder, don’t you think she looks like Keira Knightley? I was shooked when I saw Winona doing the same mouth-thing as Keira! Have I missed something, are they sisters or related at all?

The other film I saw was Ransom. Well, I think it was really good! It was just so weird to see Gary Sinise as a bad guy, since he’s so nice in CSI N:Y. I think he plays both parts really good, so thumbs up ;) By the way, he’s got a lovely behind (I saw it in the movie) *rawr*

So, what have you done this weekend, or what are your plans? Oh, oh, oh! Have you seen or readen the book “Bridge to Terabithia?”  It’s sooooo cute + sad. I was reading it in the bus, and at the end of the book, I wanted to cry. Stupid Linda, you can’t cry on a full-loaded bus! I really, really recommend it! I’m soo going to se it on movie.

Aww, isn’t she just super-cute? It’s ony makes it even more sad :(

Being a vampire

Filed under:Holiday, Movies, Party, Travel || Comments (6)

Hi guys! Thanks for the comments, I’m glad at least it’s some people who read my blog. So, Friday was Halloween! How did you celebrate it? The party went great, we decorated the whole house with tons of accesories. I think we had at least 6 bags of decorations. We had strips of black bags hanging from the ceeling and in front of doors. Oh, it was fantastic! And I had the best costume. My hair was just like this:

I had blood all over my face aswell. My friends wanted me to stand in front of them when we went trick or treating, since I had the best costume, so that people would give us extra candy! But I think the others dressed nice too! One of my friends had painted her face black + she was wearing black clothes. She painted her eyes red and wore devil horns, so she looked really scary!

How was your Halloween? Did you do any tricks, and did you get any candy? What were you dressed as and did you celebrate Halloween at all?

On Saturday, yesterday, I was really tired. The others were going to sleep over, but I couldn’t since I was seeing the optician 10:00 next morning. I left 00:00 AM, but wasn’t asleep until 01:00 AM! I had to wash my hair, I had painted it black and it was also very, very  ruffled! By the way, my optician had forgot to sign up my appointment, so I have to come back on Wednesday. If you don’t know, I might have to use glasses! I don’t mind, It would only complete my “nerd-look”. Well, later on that Saturday, I went for the local run. You pay 5 NOK and you get to compete in a lottery. I won a book, yey! Too bad it was a prize everyone else got too.

My plans today is to relax, do some homework and go for a walk. I saw Borat yesterday! Oh my God, it’s so good. If you’ve seen it, please let me know your opinion. If you haven’t seen it, I really recommend it to you!

I have good news for you guys, or maybe not so much for you, but for me :D

I’M GOING TO FREAKIN’ MILANO, BABY!!!! Only 26 days and ca. 3 weeks left…

Moroccan earrings and apple pie!

Filed under:Food, Party, School, Shopping || Comments (13)

Another day in school! My teacher had birthday today, she’s now 60 years old, and we held a little party for her. I made a crown, and some other people made a birthday card and a cake. We sang the Spanish Birthday, which was fun! I don’t have Spanish in school, so I didn’t quite knew what to sing. Today, I decided to go for the “school-girl” style, aka something like this:

We don’t have uniforms in Norway, and I really, really want it. I’ve heard people complain about uniforms, but I think it looks pretty awesome! Plus, I’m so tired of being judged by what I wear…

After school, we finished 11 o’clock today, I decided to go down town and buy something in my favorite shop Indiska! It’s and Indian/Moroccan/Asian inspired shop, with clothes, accesories, interior stuff etc. I bought myself these lovely earrings, which were just drop dead gorgeous! At least I think so.

I also baked an apple pie, it was really good, even though I should’ve let it stand for another 5 minutes in the oven. Oops!

Now I’m off to do some homework, I’ll make a short list below of what to do:

  • Finish two book reports
  • Redo two English assignments
  • Practice my English vocabularies
  • Learn the three main “something” in Buddhism
  • Norwegian task

I hope I’ll manage it all! I don’t have time tomorrow, since we’re going to celebrate my stepfather’s birthday. I bought him Borat, the movie, and some massage stuff. But shh! Don’t tell him ;)

Linda is back!

Filed under:Holiday, School || Comments (3)

So hey guys! Or should I say; Hi, myself! Haha, there aren’t anyone else but me here, oh well. I’m sorry for ‘passing out’, school has practically eaten me up, piece by piece. But I’ve started to do my homework a bit faster, so now, I have one day per week free! I’m very proud of myself, for doing that, and saving up some extra time. So from now on, I’ll try to blog at least once a week, maybe even tres :o

Anyhow, I’ve been following the McCain vs. Obama thing, and I’m so voting for Obama (if I could). But, is really America ready for an Afro-American president? I would like to here many opinions on this, since I don’t have a clue how American people are. I only think they aren’t ready :p

Over to something else! It’s soon Halloween, only 3 days :D I’m throwing a party with another friend of mine. I’m going to be a vampire, and I have the best make-up. I can’t wait, it’s going to be so much fun.

Are you going to celebrate Halloween/throw a party/dress up/go trick or treat?

Our homework this week in English, plus much more, is to write a short Halloween story with the title “A Chilling Halloween Night.” I’ve written two, one with 6 pages and one with 2. I don’t know which one to pick, yet :S

This is my Halloween make-up. Creepy right?

Take care now! I will use my next days to hunt after some cute affiliates, so be aware.
